Baseline tracking

How baseline tracking works.

The saved baseline is the fixed starting portfolio the workspace measures against every later recommendation and Lifecycle comparison. It is there to preserve the real starting point instead of letting a member reconstruct it from memory later.

What gets tracked

The workspace keeps three views separate: your saved baseline portfolio, the current accepted recommendation, and any temporary manual analysis you run for exploration.

Why the start date matters

All later comparisons use the same anchor date so the baseline, accepted custom mix, and Lifecycle menu are judged from the same point forward.

What to do next

Members save the baseline once, accept the recommendation they want tracked, then revisit the workspace when they want to compare progress or test another temporary mix.
